Celebrate Love and Tradition at Cambodia's Largest Wedding Fair

Phnom Penh: Get ready for an unforgettable experience as Creative Living Co., Ltd. proudly presents the first and largest wedding exhibition in Cambodia, happening from September 20 to 22, 2024 at The Premier Centre Sen Sok . This exciting event is designed to help couples who are planning their dream wedding easily connect with a wide range of service providers, while also promoting and celebrating the rich Khmer traditions integral to Cambodian wedding ceremonies.

According to Mean Sam Ol, a representative from Creative Living Co., Ltd., this wedding fair aims to provide a unique platform for brides and grooms to meet with various companies and businesses specializing in wedding services. "This program not only facilitates wedding planning but also brings attention to our cherished Khmer cultural heritage, showcasing it to both national and international guests," he stated during a press conference on September 13.

Supported by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Culture, along with the Duke Association and numerous local businesses, the exhibition promises to be a milestone event. Participants will enjoy numerous benefits, including special discounts, gifts, and souvenirs tailored for couples planning their weddings.

Mr. Touch Ratha, CEO of Chef Seng Hok Heng, emphasized the importance of showcasing quality wedding services at the exhibition. "A wedding ceremony is essential for many, and this event will assist in promoting quality services that respect and embrace our traditional culture," he shared.

Director General of the Wedding Embellishment, Dy Sonita, highlighted that Khmer ceremonies are rich in meaning and artistic expression. "Every aspect of our cultural heritage deserves to be celebrated—this event will not only enlighten attendees about our traditions but also promote the beautiful art forms of Cambodia," she said, mentioning the lesser-known Yike performance and its significance in Cambodian culture.

In light of the recent discussions around Cambodian-Thai wedding attire, Ms. Dy Sonita clarified the unique characteristics of Cambodian dresses, noting their detail and craftsmanship.

The wedding fair will feature entertaining concerts with popular Cambodian artists such as Khemarak Sereymon, Meas Soksophea, Duong Viraksith, Mam Pichrith, and Lim Tech Meng, ensuring that the event is lively and engaging. Families can also look forward to play areas designed especially for children.

Set to kick off on September 20, the wedding exhibition will be graced by distinguished guests, including the First Lady of Cambodia, Ms. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, alongside several ministers.
